Tintagel bridge was built in 2019. Once again to cross the 190 foot gap, between the mainland and Tintagel castle, and following the same route as the medieval settlers in the 5th to 7th century AD.
The cost of the bridge was 4 million UK pounds to complete.

Yes you are able to walk along the coastal paths and get access to the bay, including the Caves. However you won't be able to cross the bridge and enter the actual ruins of the Castle.

Tintagel is located on the Cornwall coast 118 miles from Glastonbury. You have to allow approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes to get there, traffic dependant.
How Much Time Do I Need And What To Take.
Ideally you need 2 to 3 hours at Tintagel to view the castle, caves and village. Taking good walking shoes or boots is a must. The weather can be changeable, so rain protection is wise.
